| much deeper and you can't just look at it from one side. Eveyrone has a chip on their shoulder. Its an unfortunate reality of 'joining the gang', sortof like a hazing when joining a club.. Here's a good example of what I mean: This was MY very first post: [ http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=404580 ] Just look at the responses I got as a new member! There's the 'hazing' I'm talking about. And in the 3 years that I've been here, I've made a bunch of friends, as well as some enemies - that's a simple fact of life. But there is fact and proof, as well as customer testimony both supporting myself as well as Z1 Motorsports, that goes far back before I joined the crew at Z1 - and it speaks volumes of personal customer service that has come direct from the customers' themselves. In this episode of twinturbo.net tonight, there is a great animosity between the parties involved, and its not just because there may be a full moon, or someone laid flares somewhere, but there is a great deal of competition in this industry and it goes to these dispicable levels very often. In the past two days, I can't count the number of my personal posts, most of them benign in nature, have been deleted by 'the other side'. There is no such thing as friendly competition anymore and it has been a growing war between the sides as the disputes erupt into increasingly more colorful battles - BOTH parties are responsible - we're just fighting harder because we have the proof and customer testimony to back up our work. Our business model may appear to you as such, but if you look at what our customers say (and I'm talking about people who have ordered parts from us or have brought their cars to us) you will find nothing but good things. And the fact is, you see it all over the place for other vendors as well! But we continue to fight this war that is fueled mostly by the members and their behaviours - there is no longer a 'silent battlefield' of competition because of this. We as well as other vendors have been pulled into these critical-mass type of disputes because of the nature of some of the members of this forum with their 'chips on their shoulders.' This forum was around before I or Z1 were in the game, as well as before other vendors of this site, and we have simply adopted the social attitudes and mentalities of the members here. That goes as far as providing help to members with questions or problems, to producing factual data from hours and hours of dynotime, all the way to fighting these bloody battles of which are primarily instigated by a group of members here. I apologize to those who are looking for an honest and clean resource to use as part of their Z ownership, and I just hope this sort of behaviour will go punished more heavily. It is the only way it can be prevented.
